Licensure Preparation Facilitator: Dawn Apgar, PhD., LSW, ACSW
For 20 years, Dawn Apgar has been helping social workers pass the ASWB Licensure Examination! In recent years, she has worked in numerous states to assist with establishing statewide licensure test preparation programs. Dr. Apgar has researched licensure funded by the American Foundation for Research and Consumer Education in Social Work Regulation and is currently chairperson of her state's social work licensing board. She is a past President of the New Jersey
Chapter of NASW and has been on its National Board of Directors.In 2014, the Chapter presented her with a
Lifetime Achievement Award. Dr. Apgar has taught in both undergraduate and graduate social work programs and has extensive direct practice, policy, and management experience in the social work field.
Registration Includes:
Licensure preparation study guide (registrants choose either the Masters Social Work Level/MSW or Clinical Social Work Level/CSW guide). With the preparation study guide, participants receive a code that allows 6-month access to a comprehensive digital Learning Management System. To receive the guide on the date of the session, ensure that you accurately complete all questions when registering.

2. Once on the website, click on the Events tab and then the UGA Licensure Exam Preparation subtab. (You are Here.) Please read about the event before using the app on the bottom of the page to register.
3) Complete the registration – Do Not Leave Any of the Following Fields Blank: First Name, Last Name, Valid Email Address, Mailing Address, Contact Number, NASW/NASWGA Membership Number (if applicable), UGA Student ID#, and Code. (See Constance at UGA for the code.)
** Registrants must select a Study Guide when registering. There are 2 guides, MSW and CSW. If you are graduating from the UGA Master’s program, and per the social work rules that govern the profession in Georgia, you are selecting the MSW guide.

Note: Licensure Exam Preparation Refund Policy
The Licensure Preparation materials and access to the digital study guide platform work simultaneously with received payments. Due to the immediate registration transaction and quick transfer of the product to the registrants, the registration and administrative processing fees are rapidly absorbed. This makes the payment from the registrant non-refundable, regardless of the circumstances.
