Scheduling Policy Regarding Adverse Weather Conditions:

In the event of anticipated severe weather, including heavy rain, thunderstorms, high winds, or significant snowfall, the National Association of Social Workers- Georgia Chapter (NASWGA) will actively monitor forecasts. Our primary concern is the safety of all attendees and staff. Therefore, we may delay, postpone, or cancel an in-person or online event. Decisions to delay, postpone, or cancel an event will be made by NASWGA staff based on the severity of the weather and then communicated to ticket holders via communication channels, such as email, website, and social media, at least 2 hours before the scheduled event start time. If a postponement occurs, a rescheduled date will be announced as soon as possible, with ticket validity transferring to the new date. This rescheduling option is valid for a year, demonstrating our commitment to hosting the event and your safety and convenience.
