Facilitator: Dawn Apgar, Ph.D., LSW, ACSW

For 20 years Dawn Apgar has been helping social workers pass the ASWB Licensure Examination! In recent years, she has worked in numerous states to assist with establishing statewide licensure test preparation programs.

Dr. Apgar has researched licensure funded by the American Foundation for Research and Consumer Education in Social Work Regulation and is currently chairperson of her state’s social work licensing board. She is a past President of the New Jersey Chapter of NASW and has been on its National Board of Directors. In 2014, the Chapter presented her with a Lifetime Achievement Award. Dr. Apgar has taught in both undergraduate and graduate social work programs and has extensive direct practice, policy, and management experience in the social work field.

Instruction: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Refund Policy :

Written requests for refunds must be sent to 2018naswgaconference@gmail.com. Refunds will be issued no later than 45 days following receipt of a request and will follow the schedule below:

1. For cancellation request received before August 30, 2019 at 2 p.m.: You will receive a 75% refund of your registration fee.

2. For Cancellation requests received after August 30, 2019 2 p.m. – September 27, 2019 at 2 p.m.: You will receive a 50% refund of your registration fee.

3. After September 27, 2019 at 2 p.m.: NO refunds will be issued for any reason.

4. NASWGA regrets that refunds will not be given for “no-shows.”
